We're Having a BABY!

So, a lot has happened since my last post; it's time to fill you in! Tony and I are now 11 weeks pregnant! We went for our first sonogram on Dec. 4th with Dr. Baird. It was the first time meeting her and she was fabulous. We could ask all the questions we wanted without feeling stupid. During the sonogram the baby was dancing all over the place and doing flips and jumps! I was expecting to see a kidney bean shaped "something" and not really be able to make out a baby. I was WAY off! It was so amazing! We listened to the heart beat for the first time too. The BPM was 150-151. Tony asked the doc about a wives tale he heard. She said it was a crock, but apparently if the beats are 140 or below it's a boy and above it's a girl. Mil is the only person who thinks it's a girl. Everyone else in the family believes it's a boy including us. We did the chinese calendar and some thing with your wedding ring and some string, and they both came up boy too....we'll see!! Hopefully we'll know for sure in February. I haven't felt sick at all, just very tired. I feel so guilty because I'm worthless, but Tony's been so great with encouraging me to relax. There were a couple of weeks when I would come home from work, take a nap before dinner, eat, take a nap after dinner, then go to bed! Not even kidding! The past couple of days though I have felt great! I really hope the energy is here to stay. The only thing I've had a problem with is smells. My nose is EXTRA sensitive, which sometimes gets me queasy but then it passes. The 18th we're going to get a NT scan to check and make sure all the chromosomes are there and healthy. The next scheduled appt is Jan 9th. I'll keep you posted!
