We just spent our first holiday with our NEW neighbors, Mimi & Poppy!! What a fantastic weekend! We couldn't have asked for better company, weather and FOOD! I feel like I've eaten my weight in junk the past few days, ugh! We're so lucky to have some family close now!

Chucktown Trip

Lakely and I drove to Charleston this past weekend where we met up with Tony. We stayed with the Batliners and had so much fun! It's great to see how much Lakely and Charlie have matured each time they hang out. Friday we had a cookout just like old times with great food, drinks and funny stories...I didn't want it to end! Saturday we enjoyed some pool time before we all headed to Deanna and Joey's house for Beckham's shower. Garrett and Amanda racked up on great gifts for their baby boy; he'll be here before they know it! Sunday came too quickly, but we had a successful trip back to VA with only one stop, and a happy toddler! Can't wait to go back =)

FAMILY FUN

I'm a little late with this post, but we had a wonderful family weekend together near the first of May. My Mom, Steve and Nana came for a few days to keep Lakely and I company while Tony was away on business. We had a great time, complete with fun at the park, The Little Gym, and shopping! I'm so glad that they were able to get away for a few days to come and play =) Looking forward to her big Birthday weekend in JUNE!

Our Lil Easter

Wow! What a great little Easter we had and didn't even see it coming!! Since we didn't have any of our family in town, or have any of the folks from our old neighborhood to meet up with, I had little hope for our Easter celebration. However, it was fantastic! We got up early for breakfast and to peek at what the Easter bunny brought. Lakely got some dress up heels that she is now prancing around the house in- too funny! We headed to church and then over to Phil and Erin's house to have a light lunch and an egg hunt with Parker. The kids had such a great time running around and finding the eggs. Afterward, we headed back home to finish cooking our dinner feast. Once we had finished gorging ourselves, we realized that it was the very first holiday meal that we had cooked without any help from the Grandmas...and we done good ;) Tony handled the turkey, and I made the casserole, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs- yummo!! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Zoo date w/ Parker!

Parker's mommy, Erin and I took the kiddos to the zoo this morning! It was a perfect day complete with sunny skies and a slight breeze. They did so good walking together and keeping their attention on the animals. Afterward we headed back to their house for a yummy lunch and a guaranteed nap out of the little ones! WE LOVE THE ZOO!
