New Job!

This has been a REALLY big week in the Barlett household! Tuesday night I get a call from a friend that informs be about a job position she heard about. She gave me the number I needed to call in order to set up an interview. I called Jenny one of the hiring managers and we scheduled an interview for the following day since I'm off on Wednesdays. I was SO nervous b/c the job sounded PERFECT for me! The company is Eye Surgery Center of Charleston and I would be the front office manager. I had my interview, met Jenny and Becky and it all went really well! She told me that I wouldn't hear anything until the following Monday b/c they had several more people to interview, so I was prepared to wait throughout the weekend....WELL, she called me THURSDAY (the day after the interview) and offered me the job!!!! I am so elated! I can't believe it! I thought for sure that someone with medical experience would beat me out of the position!!! I can't wait to start; November 10th will be my first day ;)

VIP Lounge in Club Lush- (Actually it's the garage, and I named it their first party)


Lastnight we attended our first Halloween party of the season! It was in the neighborhood at our friends Larry and Jennifer. He called it his Dirty Thirty party since he turned the big 3-0 last week. The party was awesome! They transformed their garage into "Club Lush" complete with VIP lounge, smoke machines, dico balls and surround sound. We actually got the cops called on us a couple of times for noise violations but it was SO worth it! We're so fortunate to have such great neighbors! Our community is fantastic! We all have such a great time with each other. We'll all get one week to recoop, then off to Amanda and Garrett's for the costume party!! (They're also our neighbors). YAY for Halloween!

Blogger Virgin

Today is my first entry I've EVER done with this whole BLOG phenomenon. I think I'm going to like it! I just hope weirdos aren't on here looking around through people's info...we'll see. Anywho, today was my day off from work. I love Wednesdays, especially since this particular Wednesday was my 5th day off in a row! WooHoo! Tony and I were in Kennesaw this past w/e hanging out with the fam and seeing the Allman Bros at Chastain Park. Good times had by all, that's for sure! Today was a day that I could just hang out, no stress, did some laundry, and ran some errands....days like these are my favorite :)
