Has it really been a YEAR?!

This very day a year ago I knew I was pregnant. It was too early for any test to have a positive result, but the feeling was definitely there. I didn't say anything to anyone. I kept it my little secret for days!! On the 30th I decided to take a test and it was positive! Now, our little Cashton is almost 4 months old. What a little blessing he has been. Each day that passes, Lakely's bond with him grows stronger and stronger. It's so adorable seeing how attentive she is with him and how his face lights up when she walks in the room. He would sit and laugh at her all day if she would stay still long enough! Here are some three month photos :)

Happy 3rd Birthday, Lakely!

Bless her heart. I'm just now getting around to posting her birthday pictures from a month ago. I've said it before, but I'm really uncertain of where all my time goes. I think about the blog, and emailing friends, and calling family all the time it just seems that when an opportunity surfaces I want to sit and do NOTHING...of course I only have about a 30 minute "quiet time" window before my 9:30/10:00 bedtime :P

Cashton's Second Month

We had a lot going on in the Barlett family for the month of June! We had family come to visit for a couple of weeks to help us celebrate Lakely's 3rd birthday AND Mr. Cashton getting baptized. It was a whirlwind of events for one weekend, but it was worth it. For now, I'll focus on Cashton's Baptism and his two-month birthday. He's getting to be quite a flirt already. All you have to do is smile or say hello to him and he flashes a gummy grin. He has great neck control now and we've been spending a little time in the Bumbo seat. We put him in there yesterday and he laughed for a straight minute...course it helped that lakely was giving him a bunch of kisses too! His check-up was great! He had to get two shots and he didn't even flinch for the first! He's such a tough lil guy :) I'll leave you with some stats and photos for now- gotta get some laundry done while I can!!
